How a Random Number Generator works to return casino game results

Random number generator computer program is something that was originally created for use in video poker games. It has a list of all the possible results in a deck of cards and then rotates through that list thousands of times a second and when a request for a game result is made it randomly chooses one of those possible results from the list and that is how you get your video poker hand. If an ace has been dealt then the remaining possible results would be less one ace of a full deck. The game results are expected to be completely random in their presentation and to mimic game odds of any Las Vegas or Atlantic City casino. No matter what the game, the wagered bet will have a result to completely mimic those of the real thing.

RNG (random number generator) programs work by having every single possible result that could happen in that wager, placed on a list which the RNG then rotates through at thousands of times a second and when you hit the button that says “roll the dice” or “spin the roulette wheel” or “spin the slots”, that rotating list stops and whatever result is in the selection spot, is then seen on the player’s PC screen.

Another way of explaining it is if we had a slot game which gave a jackpot one time out of every ten, a free spin three times out of ten and returned a losing gamble the remaining six times out of ten. If we put each of those possible results on a casino chip and put all ten chips into a hat and then had someone blindly choose a casino chip from the hat … we’d be manually doing exactly what a random number generator does only it handles much larger numbers such as one chip out of a thousand or more.

What is important to recognize from understanding how a RNG works is that the days of a slot machine being due are long gone. Every single time a new wager is made the game results are all returned into the virtual hat and therefore the odds of the game ever being ready to payoff are just not something that exists any more. Every single time you try to win that jackpot in the one out of ten chips … you will have to choose the right chip from ten possibilities, never nine, never eleven.

There is never a chance for you to have a “rich” or “poor” shoe in blackjack because every time you make a new bet, the shoe will have been once again shuffled and every card returned before you are dealt the next round. This is actually an edge to any blackjack player except the card counter because it ensures all the money cards are still in the shoe rather than risking the chance of entering a game mid-shoe and it having already spent most of the player-friendly cards, leaving you to suffer through several unpleasant hands, if not many more.

Keep in mind that random number generators work on odds based on millions of wagers over long periods of time which means that you are not guaranteed that there will be a jackpot to happen one time out of every ten but rather that a jackpot will happen on average one time of every ten. This means there could be stretches where the game goes for ninety straight losses and then turn around and serve up ten straight jackpots back to back to back. That is how the RNG is capable of providing completely random yet accurate game results.

How to Kick Butt In Texas Holdem

Poker is one of the most exciting games that anyone can play. Knowing the simple rules of the basic game can open up the opportunity to play all the variations of poker. Playing the game is straightforward with very slight rule changes for each different version.

The way to play the game can be taught in very simple steps. The basics of poker apply to all types of the game no matter how many cards are dealt or how many players are present. Knowing the basics of the game make the player able to focus on the more important parts of the game like bluffing.

Depending upon table size and the type of game there can be any number of players. However, a dealer must be chosen but the deal can pass to other players, this dealer passes out the cards to the players. The role of the dealer is to decide who won the game and to regulate card deals.

After the dealer has shuffled them, the player to the right of the dealer cuts the cards. All the players place the ante into the middle. At this time, either the players can wait for the dealer to begin the game or they can bet, what is called a blind bet.

Then, the dealer deals out the appropriate number of face down cards, depending upon the version played. The players either check or bet. If the players do not feel the need to bet at that time, they will check.

Either the players bet or check after each face up card is dealt. The players bluff about what they have in their hand during this time. A player making the other players believe that they have the better hand by betting a certain amount is bluffing.

Bluffing is what differentiates this game from any other card game. There are other games that involve bluffing but they involve dice. The name of poker derived from the French word Poque, which means to bluff.

Through the game, then the betting player wins the hand if one player bets and everyone else folds. Calling is when a player will bet the same as the first bettor or raises the bettor’s bet. Folding is when a player thinks his cards are not good enough to continue.

If there are players who wish to see or raise the bet, then, after the last card has been laid out, there is a showdown. This is where all the remaining players flip over their hidden cards to see who won the hand. The highest hand wins the pot and the game starts over again.

Players bet by using chips that represent the money with which they are playing. Once a player has bet all their chips, they have gone “all in.” If they player who has gone all in loses their hand, they are then eliminated from the game.

If you know the basic rules of game play, poker is not a hard game to play. Knowing when to bluff and when to fold your hand is the hardest part of the game. Unless you have developed your talent of bluffing, it is not recommended to use poker as a means of income.

Casino Rewards Network Says No to Advatage Players - part 1

Recently I read on a gambling forum a complaint about some of Casino Rewards Network’s terms and conditions for accepting a bonus because of a clause created to discourage bonus chasers which states if they deposit the minimum in order to get a bonus and then play the minimum play-through requirements that the casino can still choose to not pay on a cash-out because this demonstrates the actions of an advantage player.

Those terms were added to discourage bonus chasers and at least Casino Rewards is making this known to the player before money exchanges hands. At least Casino Rewards make it clear upfront they will not be abused by advantage players. I realize that their term itself does not present a clear line not to be crossed. It does make it very clear that if you sign up and get a bonus and then proceed to play the minimum required to satisfy requirements, and then cash out, that they reserve the right to refuse to pay you.

I don’t necessarily agree with the approach but I understand it. It is the lesser of two evils, the second being they increase the play-through requirements so that nobody gets the lower numbers or they can add a clause that protects them from advantage players. If they increased the numbers they would be accused of trapping the player’s deposit into a play-through scheme that is not fair-minded, such as many unscrupulous online casinos already do. This was not why play-through requirements were created and obviously Casino Rewards has chosen to not use them in such manner. In fact play through requirements started out extremely easy which is what gave birth to the advantage player. Increased requirements and clauses such as the one of subject are a reaction against actions taken, not just some idea the casino managment invented to protect the small amounts of money they give away.

If the casinos were to increase play-through requirements any further to combat adavantage play then all the players would stand to lose instead of just upsetting those with plans to play the minimums and get out. Casino Rewards is obviously choosing to not take this cowardly way out. Rather they will take the blunt of the accusations thrown at them in order to protect a better gambling environment for the people who deserve it. The legitimate players who came there to gamble for their entertainment and because they wanted to check out that particular casino, and not just because that casino is the most convenient available which offers an extra edge to new players.

It can be said that the casino should go ahead and just pay these players since they did in fact beat the pre-defined terms of the contract. *However that is exactly why they chose to add that clause in about having the option to define a player as not having accepted the bonus in the spirit given. They aren’t trying to cheat anybody out of their money. They just don’t want bonus chasers. If you plan on buying in at the minimum, playing the minimum and cashing out, also plan on not getting paid. The casinos cannot make it more clear.

Contrary to popular belief, the (legitimate) casinos are not rolling in money. They survive, and are designed to operate with a profit from the percentage difference you see in the audits. Which is usually around 5% (give or take) and out of that 5% they have to pay their debts just like anyone else. While there is no argument (at least from me) that this is still a very lucrative business, asking the casinos to pay those who … lets be honest both ways… are not there to accept the bonus in the spirit given, and by their very proven actions are what they stand accused.

Flash Casinos are not used properly

Flash casinos are a great addition to an online casino network but some people have a misunderstanding of the actual purpose they serve. Yes it is true they are designed so that there is no need to download anything to your computer. Where the misunderstanding comes in is when people see the slogan “instant play” or “no downloading necessary, be playing in minutes”. Flash games certainly live up to those claims but what isn’t said is that the overall time involved for the process of downloading the casino and then registering for an account (which is something you would have to complete whether playing at the flash version or the download version) is not very much different.

Further is that once the download version has finished loading onto your computer it is much faster than the flash games, especially when changing from one game to another. The download version switches instantly where as the whole process of leaving the flash game and returning to the menu and then waiting for it to load, just seems to take so much more time that it almost becomes frustrating because you were told this was an instant play casino so you expect everything to happen right now and that simply isn’t how the flash games work.

Then in many cases such as the flash casinos powered by Microgaming, the leader in the online gambling industry, the menu is several pages and it usually takes at least two clicks to find the game you’re wanting to play next so you must wait for each page to load same as you would for any page on the internet only the flash games must have a lot involved because their load time is considerably longer than the time it takes for most web pages to load.

So what good are flash casinos if they are not faster and offer only about half the games as do the download versions? The answer to that is exactly why flash casinos have found a place for themselves nearly ten years beyond the first arrival of most online casinos, which is that they are convenient for those who want to gamble but are away from their home PC. That is entirely the reason flash casinos still exist today, aside from the few who may still need the room on their PC but that must be a minority by now considering that I can easily fit three or four online casinos on this writer’s PC and still have room for Front Page editor version 2003 which takes up over four hundred megabytes and compare that to a RealtimeGaming powered casino which takes up seventy-two megabytes.

Lack of room on a PC shouldn’t be a concern in this day and age but being able to gamble when away from home is a nice convenience that continues to be used by many online gamblers who enjoy playing while sitting at the office or while out on the road. Before getting married and settling down I use to enjoy the convenience of being able to log in from a girlfriend’s house or apartment and we’d kill some time taking turns playing the slots or video poker games. That is the proper use of a flash casino in current times.
