Natural weight loss means lowering your daily calorie intake while increasing the amount of calories you burn through exercise; few ever listen to this suggestion. This advice should be easy to comprehend - at least you would think it was; however, currently 35 percent of Americans are unable to prevent being overweight! Of course, once you are overweight, you usually want to trim down for a whole lot of reasons, some related to health, others having to do with looks.

The strange thing is though that it is so much easier to stay trim than it is to lose weight because as soon as you start putting on weight, many things become more difficult. Nevertheless weight maintenance is something that has to be worked on and planned otherwise we will put on extra pounds.

For some reason even when dieters who have become used to, and enjoy, a low calorie diet, they eventually drift back to old habits and start piling the pounds back on again. Extra weight often results in health issues and can negatively impact on one’s emotional state and self-esteem but all this can be cured with a healthy, natural weight loss program.

There is a large number of health conditions associated with weight gain and the greater the increase in body weight the more that problems occur. The annoying part is that natural weight maintenance is not difficult to understand but overweight people choose to ignore this.

If you are planning to use a natural weight loss approach then its success will depend on the meals you eat which should be low in fat, high in fiber, some protein and carbohydrates. A typical meal like this would be a jacket potato with vegetables and some lean meat, which would be healthy and give the balance you require.

Dietitians also say that the body has a capacity to retain dietary fat more than calories for regular foods so weight gain is more likely. Food manufacturers have been quick to react and have provided a huge range of low or no fat foods but despite this the American people are getting larger, the simple reason for this may surprise you!

The weight a person puts on isn’t always as a result of high fat foods, although they obviously do not help, but a result of too many calories turning into body fat. The term fat-free can be a trap if you start to believe that you can eat any amount of fat-free food when it is far better to respond to hunger with healthy snacks.

Schools of thought differ on this subject but many nutritionists agree that eating smaller meals with a snack every 3 to four hours or between meals could be beneficial providing main meals are not missed. The secret to natural weight loss is easy if you just obey it; do not eat more than your body requires through normal activities and exercise.

Should Or Shouldn’t I Take Weight Loss Pills

People wanting to lose weight will surely at some point of time ask which is the best weight loss pills. There will never be one answer to this question, simply because what works for one individual may not have worked for someone else. Perhaps your friend wanted to lose weight by taking fast weight loss pills. They worked for her, but when someone else tried them they didn’t work the same. Other dieters feel that herbal weight loss pills are the only way to go. So you can see the answer will vary on what they were were successful with.

If your weight is not causing you some serious health issues then most likely you will want to lose the weight for appearance purposes. On the other hand, if you are suffering in your health because of your weight, then that should be your primary purpose for wanting to slim down.

To get the full benefits of effective weight loss pills they must be included in a full weight loss program. All too often, misinformed individuals believe that you can just start taking weight loss pills and they will work their magic. No weight loss pills are that good. You need to incorporate a healthy food diet plus some type of exercise program.

First you should be aware though that weight loss pills come in many forms. For example you can get weight loss pills that are totally herbal weight loss pills or sometimes they are classed as natural weight loss pills. Read the ingredients carefully. Just because they are being touted as natural doesn’t necessary mean they are. Often they contain side ingredients as fillers with the natural ingredients. These are the very culprits that can be damaging to you.

Often you will hear the term rapid weight loss pills. The key here is the definition of rapid. Everybody considers rapidly meaning something different. I would consider losing two pounds in a week, whereas another person would fee that it should be more like five pounds to qualify for quick weight loss pills.

Another issue that you must keep in mind is weight loss that is far too rapid. It usually means that if the weight comes off quickly then it will come back on again after you have stopped taking. It is important to remember before you decide on any particular weight loss tablets, that conduct several weight loss pills reviews. Just researching one particular type is not enough. You need to be able to do some comparisons.

The Cabbage Soup Diet - A Low Carb Solution?

You may have heard of the Cabbage Soup Diet. Many people have lost immediate weight the first week or two they go on this diet, but have lost interest after that and regained the weight, which is much like the results on other low to no carb diets. For a diet to work long term, it must offer enough variety to be enjoyed and eaten over a period of time.

This diet is well known as a fat burning soup diet, being that it contains ingredients which are believed to help the body burn off fat. However, other than the cabbage soup, dieters on this regimen do not have a lot of dietary choices besides low to no carb foods such as fruits and vegetables.

When taking a closer look at the recipe for this cabbage soup or fat burning soup, it is clear that this can be considered a low to no carb diet. The soup includes fat burning vegetables like onions, peppers, tomatoes and cabbage. You can also substitute other cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower or broccoli for the cabbage. Spices and hot sauce can be added to liven up the soup.

Carbohydrates, which the body turns to sugar and burns or stores the unused to fat cells, is restricted in this diet. It is based on the vegetables, which burn more calories in your metabolism, than they have in them. This principle works in losing weight, however, most people cannot stand to eat the soup for more than a couple weeks before losing interest in the cabbage soup diet.

Here’s how the cabbage soup diet works: you can eat all the soup you like whenever you’re hungry. Other than this, there are different things which you can eat depending on the day of the week. On day one, you can have fruit (except for bananas), on day two you can have vegetables except for peas, corn and beans. On day two you can also have a baked potato with dinner, to trick your body into thinking that you are still eating carbohydrates.

Day three allows fruits and vegetables, day four you can have bananas and skim milk. On day five, you can eat lean meat and tomatoes; day six allows leafy greens and lean meat. On day seven, brown rice can be eaten. This isn’t a diet which offers a lot of variety, not to mention protein. This is why many do not manage to stick with the fat burning soup diet for very long.

The cabbage soup diet is a lot like the other low to no carb diets; it limits your carb intake. It also does not limit how often or how much you can eat, but it does limit your choices.

The cabbage soup diet is much like the other low or no carb diets in that it allows you to eat as much and as often as you like. However, the best diets are ones which incorporate fat burning foods while still offering variety and a nutritional balance and allow you to eat several times a day so you can stick with it over the long term, such as the diet provided by Fat Loss 4 Idiots.

Effleurage: Effleurage, which in French means roughly “to skim,” is a slow and rhythmic series of strokes, applied with both palms and fingers, used to warm up muscle tissue before further message techniques can be used.

This massage movement is applied to melt fat on the forehead, face, neck, chest, shoulders, back, arms and hands. While massaging, the hand is held loosely, the wrist is kept flexible and fingers should conform to the shape of the area being massaged.

Petrissage (Kneading movement): Petrissage is the second basic stroke in a Swedish message. It is used to eliminate fatigue, stimulate sensory nerves, relax muscles, and increase blood and lymph circulation. During this movement, finger pads, thumbs, and the palms of hands are used in a light, but firm, manner to achieve the desired effect.

Tapotement (or Percussion): In this massage technique comprising of tapping, slapping and hacking movements, the pressure is applied with the sides of hand with partly flexed fingers or fingertips.

This movement will increase blood and lymph circulation, stimulate sensory nerves, and redistribute fatty tissue - all while strengthening and toning the muscles targeted by this movement.

Friction (Deep rubbing movement): This movement will slim down arms and legs while increasing blood circulation and break down fibrous adhesion. The movement is comprised by light circular movements produced by the finger tips and thumbs, which is used on the scalp, face, neck, and arms.

Vibration (Shaking) Movement: The masseur should be careful applying this technique as messaging in the wrong direction will cause both skin and muscles to sag. A skilled masseur will message along nerve path with rapid muscular contractions of the fingers and thumbs to achieve the desired results and avoid the complications this can cause. This movement stimulates nerves, loosens scar tissue, and relieves pain when done properly.

How To Lose Baby Fat

If you are motivated and remain focused, you can lose baby fat quickly and don’t let family or friends tell you otherwise.

1. Food Preparation. This is an essential element in losing baby fat, because if you continue to deep fry or do any kind of frying you are not going to find it easy to lose weight. A little olive oil in a non stick pan would be ok if you really have to, it’s full of anti-oxidants. If you boil, grill or broil your food you will cut out any added calories.

2. Meal Size. This is extremely important. You have to get out of the 2 to 3 times a day mindset. You have to eat more regularly, for example, eating 5 to 6 small meals a day will keep you satisfied. The emphasis is on small meals though. You will remain satisfied and less prone to cheating. Believe me, it works.

3. Exercise. Nothing will leave you feeling better than some exercise, I recommend at least 30 minutes a day to tone problem areas.

I recommend walking to get you started, it’s simple to do and anyone can do it.

No, not to the fridge for a snack. Outside. Walking helps you to lose baby fat quickly, because it’s not the muscle bulging, sweat dripping exercises that burn fat quickly, it’s the low impact one’s, like walking. Start slowly; you can gradually build up to a 45 minute power walking.

Baby will benefit too, so take him or her along.

Simpler than that I cannot make it. Eat more meals that are prepared well and get outside and walk it off. It really works. Try it, you will not be sorry.

No much efforts, yet beneficial- this should be your exercise!

The exercise should be done with the mantra ‘no pain, much gain’. Exercise is meant to be comfortable, healthy and happy - which should leave you fresh and ready to work, not wilting and ready for bed. From physical exercise one gets lightness, firmness, tolerance, elimination of impurities and stimulation of digestion. Exercising beyond a comfortable level leaves you feeling restless, exhausted and shaky. Avoid strain and pain exercises.

You should trim your exercise routine to about 50% of what you’re capable of; reducing the time it takes for your body to fully recover. If you can run for half an hour, cut back to 15 minutes, if you can walk for an hour cut back to 30 minutes.

As air becomes colder it is more difficult for you to breath, having a history of asthma will also increase this difficulty. During the cold winter months choose indoor activities like basketball, volleyball, or yoga. Being excessively overweight also makes proper exercise difficult. If you are 25 kilograms or more above your healthy weight avoid activities which can hurt knees. Instead spend time on a stationary bike. Various exercises which can increase body flexibility are described below.

These two exercises do not take very long, only about 10 minutes, and can be done anywhere you have floor space, even an office. These exercises not only give your body a healthy shape but they will improve your posture, which relieves lower back pain, and aid in digestion of food.

The first step in this exercise is to lie on your stomach with your forehead touching the ground. Then grab hold of your folded legs. Next, raise the upper part of your body as well as your legs as high as possible and hold this position for several seconds. Repeat three to four times to tone the muscles in your back, shoulders, waist, and thighs.

Lie on your back, palms on sides and heels together. Breathe normally. Now raise one leg upward slowly towards the sky in a perpendicular position, inhaling. Hold for 6-8 seconds and lower the leg towards floor, exhaling. Repeat exercise with other lee. Perform 4-5 rounds. This exercise is excellent to slim hips, thighs, buttocks, legs, waist and abdomen. It tones up the muscles of sex-glands, enhances potentiality, cures white vaginal discharge (leucorrhoea), menstrual disorders and aids digestive system.

If you are over the age of 60 you should change your routine to simple warmth-inducing movements: * You should never sit longer than half an hour or so. Get up and do something - and thing - simply to circulate blood throughout the body. * If you sit for long periods of time without movement you risk damaging muscles, joints and you will see signs of depression in your life. * Sitting for long periods of time can be tiring as oxygen flow decreases in your body. It is better to walk about and then lie down again.

* If you wake during the night, change your position if possible. * When you walk, make sure your heels are level. You should move as quickly as possible using your ankles to their fullest. * If you must use a cane, do not let it slow you down. Canes are meant to assist your movements, not fully support your body. While you are using your cane carry it in the hand opposite to your injured leg, never on the same side

Never bend over your cane, press on the handle. Make sure to have a doctor recommend a correct length for your cane. Using a stick to long can damage your shoulder joints from the pressure exerted by the cane. To exercise, walk fast enough that you are breathless for a moment or so, as hard as it may be this will help you live a longer more enjoyable life.
