How To Get Your Ex Back

Filed Under (Education) by T.Dubayah on 21-10-2008

While this certainly is not exactly the best place to be in life right now. I know you are trying to figure out how to get your ex back. You are probably feeling very confused and alone, and you don’t understand exactly what you did wrong in your relationship. Remember, we all have gone through this before. I know it’s not very comforting to tell you this, but these people did survive it, and you can too.

But, there is good news. It’s certainly possible for you to get your ex back. In this article, I’m going to show you some things that can work wonders for you in getting your ex back.

First, there are some things you SHOULD NOT do…

* Be sure NOT to call your ex or send them messages constantly

* Do not stalk them

* Do not stay at home and cry and be sad

* Don’t try to pick up someone at a club

* Don’t let yourself become depressed

A few things that you should be doing are…

* Go out with your friends

* Be sure and get into better shape

* Give your ex space to be alone

* Go out into the sun and read a book

* Do go out and make some friends and meet new people

The one thing that will push an ex even further away is clingyness. Give them room to breathe. If they do not want to hear from you, do not call them! Leave them alone. I love this saying and it is something I use often…. Give them the best gift of all…..

Give them the gift of missing you!

Powerful stuff isnt it? When someone cannot have something, they want it more. It’s simply the law of attraction. Also, if that someone see’s that person being enjoyed by another, that also makes them want that person more and this is where not being available, not sitting by the phone and going out makes a big difference.

I know you don’t ‘feel’ like going out. But, do it! It’s one of the best ways to get your ex back- I promise. Who knows- perhaps you might even find someone else while you are out who is even MORE what you wanted in life.

Nothing turns any person on this planet off more than desperation. No one wants to be with someone who is desperate to be with them. It’s not romantic, it’s scary.

Stay positive and positive things will happen in your life.

Student Loans: Here’s What You Have to Understand

Taking out the best college loan(s) can help students finance their higher education while ensuring that they will avoid a bad experience when repayment begins. Failure to thoroughly investigate and consider the responsibilities which go with loans may, however, spawn unpleasant surprises. The more information you get, the more likely you are to make good loan choices.

Student loans are separated into two categories; subsidized and unsubsidized. The chief difference between the categories is who is responsible for the interest during the time a student is actively enrolled in a college or university.

Subsidized student loans are limited to students who demonstrate financial need: students whose incomes are not sufficient to meet college costs. There is a fixed limit on the subsidized loan money students may borrow, but the government pays the interest on such loans while students are enrolled in college and during the first six months thereafter.

Unsubsidized loans are available to all students, regardless of financial need, and are available in larger amounts. However, students are responsible for the interest payments.

In most cases, students who qualify for unsubsidized loans need the maximum they are allowed to borrow. If they require funds beyond the subsidized loan maximum, they may turn to unsubsidized loans for additional assistance.

Students can apply for the Perkins Loan or the Stafford Loan. Repayment of both begins six months after a student has graduated, stopped out, or dropped out. When there is good reason, lenders will frequently extend this six month grace period, although they are not obligated to do.

There is also the PLUS loan, which can be taken out by parents. The PLUS loan offers a relatively low interest rate, but requires repayment to begin sixty days after the loan is awarded.

Even bankruptcy does not free students of the obligation to repay student loans. Lenders will virtually always work with people making a sincere effort to repay their loans, but those who attempt to evade their responsibilities and obligations are subject to wage garnishment and other serious penalties.

Because a college degree will increase your lifetime income by an average of nearly $1 million, it’s a great investment. But, you certainly want to shop for the best terms you can get and avoid the temptation to borrow more than is necessary.

5 Ways To Have A Successful and Novel Fundraising Campaign

The suggestions that follow may seem a bit off the wall but they they have the distinction of working almost every time they are tried. This article addresses the main reason why some schools do much better than others even when all other factors are are pretty much the same. It is to easy when planning a new fundraiser to focus on the things that don’t make any difference in the outcome of a school fundraising program. Here are five of the right things to you should focus on.

Below you will find four things that a school or group can do that will greatly affect how much money is raised with their new fundraiser:

Step #1 - Profit Percentage Does Not Lead to More Profits.

A company offering 90% profit vs a company offering 20% profit is not necessarily a better deal for a school. One thing to keep in mind is that banks do not accept deposits of percentage. Every bank I know of accepts only money. Profit percentage is the thing that many decision makers look at first and foremost when it comes time to pick what they are going to do for their new fundraiser. What I am saying here does not mean profit percentage is not important, but it should not be the school’s first and only priority when choosing their next new and unique fundraiser. It should be the school’s number one goal to raise the maximum profit possible with the least amount of hassles!

Step #2 - The Product You Sell Does Make a Difference, however, Not As Much As You Might Think! Picking the right product for your new fundraiser does make a difference, but, it does not have the importance that most think it does in having a successful fundraiser. You have probably seen this in your own town, how two schools decide to sell cookie dough and they both sell them at the same time and the same price. But the difference in their results were miles apart! Because of this, you could come to the conclusion that it is not the product which made the difference. So what is it that makes the biggest difference in fundraising results? Hint, see Step #4!

Step #3 - Start Your Fundraising as Early In the School Year as You Possibly Can

When you kickoff your fundraiser is a very important aspect of it’s success. It is an undisputed fact that the first school who’s sales brochure goes into an office or neighborhood has higher sales than the one that comes last. However, timing is not the #1 reason why schools have successful fundraisers. Hint, see Step #4!

Step #4- Program Management (How the fundraiser is run) is the Number One factor in it’s success.

Program Management is the most important element in having a successful fundraiser. You may know that “How” the school fundraiser is run is critical to it’s success, but the main problem is not many fundraising companies train the fundraising sponsors in how to properly run their sale.

Follow these key elements of Program Management to Maximize Your Sale.

A) Set High but Goals for the School

B) Have A Memorable Kick Off

C) Maintain The Enthusiasm through the Entire Sale

D) Finding Helpful Volunteers

E) Motivating the Students/Sellers

F) Motivate the Teachers and Staff members to Promote and Participate in the Sale.

To maximize the results on a new fundraiser the students/sellers must be motivated to participate in a way that they have not been before. You can provide motivation not only to the students but to the teachers as well.

The main reason why one elementary will make $8,000 while another similar school will make $15,500, is the way they did their prizes/incentives for students and for their teachers!

We at AIM have a saying “Students could sell $5 bills for $10.00 and do real well if you motivate them good enough.” The most important part of your fundraiser will be to provide incentives that truly motivate your students and teachers to participate in your sale like they have never done before! A school that typically has a 25% participation rate will more than double with only a 15% increase in participation. Increasing participation by 15% is not a hard thing to do.

We’ve all heard the old myth that you are born with or without a good singing voice, that singers can be trained but not made. It is true that a talent for singing appears naturally in some people. It is not as hard to learn to become a singer as is often perceived.

When you face possible obstacles or dilemmas while learning to be a singer-performer things can become much more difficult. Some singer have a hard time experiencing rejection or negative comments. Find a way to cope with the possible negative words, and continue to concentrate on your objectives in becoming a singer.

It is important to hone your skills before trying to enter any area of show business, especially singing. Practice teaches you how to hit certain high notes, and how to train your vocal chords to obey your every command. So sing whenever and wherever and anywhere you get the chance, including your family, friends, at the local cafe, amateur theater, or your church, for example.

If you want to perform for people, you need to find your own type of musical venue, such as blues, country or pop, for example. Well known singers blend several styles of singing, but if you want to cultivate your own special approach as a singer work on one category of singing style. As you nurture and learn more singing techniques you can advance in your own uniquely special vocal sound.

If you want to take yourself seriously as a professional, you need to get an agent. An agent can prove to be invaluable because a good agent can help with public relations and get your name out there. Probably for the best results in finding an agent, first locate an independent recording studio where you can make a demo recording, or if you are short of cash make a demo tape on your own at home.

Practice singing in front of family or friends and ask them what they think. Record and listen to your songs. All this will probably inspire you as they can also help you acquire further knowledge of the craft. Go to as many concerts and shows as you can and study each performer’s performance and their stage presence.

Have faith in yourself and set some goals, including getting a good voice teacher if you can afford it, or take a fine online singing course. If singing is important to you, then make time for it and room for it in your life. Experiment and add some fun creative movements and steps to your routine and see where it takes you.

Before you make the investment in time and money in yourself, find out if you really do have what it takes to be a singing professional. Face the music and sing for others a few times, preferably for people you don’t know. See how their reception is toward you and whether you get a good feeling about your work as a singer.

With more and more students looking for ways to fund college, scholarships have become increasingly competitive. Making your application stand out is essential. Here are seven steps that can help.

1. Typing is always better than writingit’s easier to read and looks more professional. Write only when necessary.

2. Do not provide reference letters from friends, neighbors or co-workers. Instead, ask employers and teachers to write letters of reference for you. It is always best to provide references from people who have supervised, taught, or mentored you.

3. Neatness and organization count. Everything you submit should be neat and well organized.

4. Provide all requested information. Don’t be verbose, but do be thorough and complete.

5. Get everything in at least ten days before the deadline. It will make you appear responsible and ambitious.

6. Your packet should be well organized and reader friendly. Clip everything together and put it in a nice folder.

7. Put the folder in a large, sturdy envelope so everything will look as good when it arrives as it does before you mail it.

There are no guarantees, but these seven very simple tips can help separate your scholarship application from some of those not as carefully assembled. And, every little edge you can get may make the difference for you. Best wishes.

The Best Way To Finish College Fast

Going to college and enjoying the full experience of college is a great thing for young adults. However that takes a lot of money and time that not everyone has. Some people need to finish college fast and start making some decent money as quick as possible.

A person who holds down a full time job and can not afford to quit working in order to go back to school is a good example. A person serving in the military is another example of someone who would not likely be able to go to college on a fulltime basis.

Whatever the reason for not being able to go to college fulltime to finish a degree there are other options to consider. So yes the traditional experience of going to college may not happen fully or at all, but at least it is possible to still complete a degree and get on with your professional working life as quick as possible.

Having some freedom or flexibility to earn a college degree via a distance based or online degree program is an option to consider.

To finish as fast as you can it may require additional steps as well. In case you are not aware there are tests that if you successfully pass them (and there are study guides) you may not be required to then complete certain college classes. Completing one or several of these tests could save you money and time.

One of these tests is called CLEP. This stands for College-Level Examination Program. This program can be used for both college admissions and some colleges let you earn up to 12 credit hours for each CLEP exam. Each college has different rules so you will want to check with the one you will earn your degree from first to make sure they accept CLEP exams for college credits.

Some examples of the CLEP exams you can take include Accounting, American Government, American Literature, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature, and more.

Now you should be able to see that you may be able to earn a degree faster by using the CLEP exams to reduce the number of college courses you will need to take. You may also save time by using either an online college or distance learning program (assuming they accept CLEP). Do not rule out campus based programs also as many know offer a lot of flexibility as well.
